Scituate High School's Unified Basketball Team Makes a Strong Debut!

Unified Basketball Team

We are thrilled to announce that Scituate High School’s new Unified Basketball team played their very first game last Friday at Hingham, and it was a tremendous success! It was a fun and memorable experience for the students, families, and staff involved.

The Unified Basketball team consists of athletes with and without disabilities who practice, compete, and enjoy the game together. This inclusive program values and respects every participant, fostering a welcoming environment where everyone is accepted just as they are. It’s more than just basketball—it’s about building confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging for all.

It’s not too late to join in on the fun! We welcome all SHS students to participate in our practices and games. If you're not ready to play, come cheer us on! Our next home games are on October 17th and October 29th at 3:30 PM in the SHS gymnasium. Let's fill the bleachers and support this amazing team!
