We are excited to announce that Mrs. Jacqui Frongello has been named Scituate Public Schools’ newest Director of Educational Technology. For the past nine years, Mrs. Frongello has served as the Secondary Technology Integration Specialist here in Scituate, working with students, staff, and families to integrate technology into the classroom. Prior to joining Scituate, Mrs. Frongello was a Technology Integration Specialist for Plymouth Public Schools and taught computer science to students in grades 7-12 at Sacred Heart High School in Kingston, MA.

During her time in Scituate, Mrs. Frongello has provided leadership and support in instructional technology and 1:1 device implementation. She troubleshoots technical issues and collaborates on integrating hardware, software, and internet resources to support student learning and help teachers meet the state learning standards.

She works with teachers to develop technology-enhanced curriculum materials, empowering students to be creative, collaborative, communicative, and critical thinkers. Mrs. Frongello stays updated on emerging technologies and educational trends, evaluates technology integration effectiveness, and makes recommendations for improvement.

Additionally, she has served on the Curriculum Team Committee, Professional Development Committee, and currently serves on the Digital Communications team, crafting engaging posts to keep our school communities informed.

As someone who has been part of this community, Mrs. Frongello is particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to further contribute to our district's technological advancements and support the educational needs of our students and staff.

Educationally, Mrs. Frongello holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Suffolk University, a Master’s Degree in Education and Instructional Technology from Cambridge College, and a teacher license from the Department of Education in Instructional Technology K-12.

Outside the classroom, she loves spending time with her husband and two boys, whether cheering them on during hockey or lacrosse games or enjoying family time at the beach, camping, or exploring new places on vacation.

She is excited about the possibility of continuing to work with such a dedicated team and contributing to the future successes of Scituate Public Schools.

Please join us in welcoming Jacqui Frongello as our new Director of Educational Technology!

William Burkhead, Superintendent of Schools, Scituate Public Schools
