SHS & BSU Math Connection

On May 23rd, SHS students will learn about how placement tests are used to find the best fit for their post high school planning. Dr. Matthew Salomone, Dean of Math at Bridgewater State University will be on site to share his perspective with our student's. This partnership between the math departments at SHS and BSU is an exciting way to help our students and educators make real connections to what skills our students are ready for at the college level.

• All 10th and 11th grade students will attend the presentation to learn about placement assessments and how they can be used
• On May 24th or 28th students will have the opportunity take a placement assessment to understand their readiness for certain math courses at the college level

We are thrilled for this partnership because it will give SHS and our students more information about their math skills as they relate to their goals after high school.
