Ms. Trayers wins MA statewide Promising New Teacher Award

Kelly Trayers, SHS History teacher, has been selected as the recipient of the Richard Aieta Promising Teacher Award given by the Massachusetts Council for the Social Studies. This distinguished award is presented to one Massachusetts educator in the first five years of their career who has demonstrated exceptional ability in the teaching of social studies. The selection committee wrote that, “amidst a remarkably strong field of candidates, Kelly’s talents and contributions to her students and school stood out”. This award reflects Ms. Trayers’ unwavering commitment to her students and to Scituate High School as a whole.
