Pathway to Success

The Women's Business Association hosted its inaugural speaker series event, titled "Pathway to Success," marking a significant milestone for the newly formed club this year. The event aimed to empower students interested in women's leadership in the business world by offering insights into overcoming challenges and achieving success.

Distinguished guest speakers included Lisa Garabedian, Senior VP/Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch; Cara Belvin, Founder and CEO of Empower; Jennifer Bokavich, VP Consumer Vertical North America at Kuehne & Nagel; and Lucy Smith, a former SHS graduate and recent Bryant University alumna currently working as a Logistics Analyst at ADUSA Procurement.

The event took place in the SHS PAC Lobby, where WBA Club leaders Savana Garabedian, Gracelyn Veiga, and Bailey Young conducted insightful interviews with each panelist. Each speaker shared their personal journey in the business world and the motivations behind their successful careers.

Attendees, including many SHS students, engaged in thought-provoking discussions with the panelists, exploring how high school students can pave their own path to success. Feedback for the event was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees expressing appreciation for the enriching experience.
