Student Spotlight: Meet Arwen!

Meet Arwen, a second grade student at Hatherly School. Arwen requested a meeting with Mrs. Sheahan to talk about some great ideas she has for our Hornet All-School Assemblies. Arwen told Mrs. Sheahan, “I was inspired by other students who took part in the Hornet Assemblies and decided I wanted to put myself out there a bit, too.” At our next assembly Arwen suggested that we have last month’s Hero Award winners announce the new winners. She would like to explain her idea to the crowd and call up last month’s winners. Wow! What a great example of courage, responsibility, and empowerment!
