Scituate Anchors Set Sail

Scituate Anchors Lunch Cruise

On April 29th, Scituate Anchors hosted a Lunch Cruise aboard the Boston Odyssey. The afternoon was filled with lots of fun, food, music and dancing, as attendees from Scituate and Boston came together in community. This was a great opportunity to meet new faces, have great conversations, and make connections with each other as the deck was filled with students, parents, grandparents, siblings, administrators, teachers, and other school staff. We look forward to more events in the future with Scituate Anchors to bring our Boston and Scituate communities together and continue to build relationships and connections across the district!

Scituate Anchors is a program designed to foster authentic and long-term relationships throughout the district and community emphasizing our Boston-Scituate connections. This new philosophy moves away from the idea of host and guest and  instead promotes mutual support. The Scituate Anchors program provides families opportunities to build organic friendships through Anchor connection events.

If you have any questions, please reach out to our METCO Director Darryl David and our METCO Coordinator MarKaveus Barnes about family connections programming. Fill out the interest form linked below to be a part of Scituate Anchors!
