Scituate Anchors: the METCO Host Family Program Reimagined
Anchors: Families Supporting Families
Scituate Anchors is a program designed to foster authentic and long-term relationships throughout the district and community emphasizing our Boston-Scituate connections. This new philosophy moves away from the idea of host and guest and instead promotes mutual support. The Scituate Anchors program provides families opportunities to build organic friendships through Anchor connection events.
Please Join Us
Please join us for our first event on February 4th at 5pm in Boston Commons for a night of ice skating. To be notified of details for this and future events, please register as an Anchor family by using the form below. Join the excitement and connect with families.
We Need You!
As Coretta Scott King said, “The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” In that same vein, all that participate are adding to the greatness of our district and overall community. As always if you have any questions, please reach out to our METCO Director Darryl David and our METCO Coordinator Markaveus Barnes about family connections programming at ScitAnchors@scit.org
