Creating a Sense of Belonging

Creating a sense of belonging is a district goal. Lester J. Gates Middle School created a mosaic of individual student pictures. Gates staff members wrote a positive note about each student next to their picture. The mosaic made its debut on November 21 just in time for Thanksgiving.  The mosaic will make you feel proud to be part of a district that works hard to create a sense of belonging.
