SHS 2024 School Report Card

Scituate High School
Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. The school’s report card is designed to show families how our school is doing in different areas including:
- student achievement
- teacher qualifications
- student learning opportunities
Families can use the report cards as a tool to have meaningful conversations with us about what the school is doing well and where there is room for improvement. Education leaders can use the information to better understand how to support students and our school.
At Scituate High School, there are several key takeaways that our staff will continue to address:
- To help all students achieve meeting or exceeding expectations on MCAS assessments required for graduation
- To support individual students and families to encourage consistent and regular school attendance
- To increase access to and participation in advanced coursework opportunities for all students
- To prepare students for 21st Century Careers through high-interest concentrations of coursework, extracurricular, work-based and service opportunities
To support and motivate students to achieve their highest potential though individual, flexible and structured educational and support experiences
If you have questions about our school’s report card, please contact Marc Loranger, SHS Principal.
