SHS DECA Conference

DECA

The DECA District Competition was held at the Seacrest Resort in Falmouth on 12/7-12/8 this year.  Scituate was well represented with 80 of our high school business students taking part in the event.  The competition gives business students an opportunity to apply what they are learning and showcase their business skills by competing in various industry themed categories against other students from 12 local high schools. Students are assessed through an industry based exam and two case studies. The case studies are actual business situations requiring students to develop a business plan solution and present to a judge to be scored.  

The following students have qualified for the State Level Competition in Boston in March:
