Wampatuck Wave

Class of 2024 Senior Visit

Our Wampatuck Alumni returned to their roots on Friday, May 24th to visit their old classrooms and many of their former teachers. Wampatuck students were in the hallways to cheer them on as they stepped off the bus. After a light breakfast  was served, they visited classrooms to share memories of their time here and gave the fifth graders a brief snapshot of what to expect at Gates Intermediate School in September.

Message from Mrs. Bennett, BSN, R.N, NCSN

Please remember to pick up all medication(s) in the health office (inhalers, epi-pens, and daily scheduled medications) by the last day of school, Thursday June 20th.

  • Per Scituate public school policy, children are not allowed to transport their own medications.
  • Medications cannot be stored in the health office over the summer and will be disposed of according to policy if not picked up.
  • Please let me know when you plan on visiting to pick up medication so I can have everything ready for you!
  • Thank you and have a wonderful end of the school year and summer vacation!

Summer Acceleration Academy

Last summer, Scituate Public Schools provided Acceleration Academies for students and received positive feedback from students and families. This year, a similar program will be offered during the week of August 19-22, 2024. The program is designed to offer students an engaging and hands-on approach to learning math and/or reading. All students are encouraged to sign up, but priority for open seats will be given to those who require specific support based on district assessments.
