Program of Studies
Gates Middle School strives to meet all learners' academic and social needs in a safe and supportive learning environment. The fact that students are clustered in teams reflects our belief that students should be at the center. Teachers look to provide engaging opportunities for students to grow, excel, and thrive during their middle school experience. The Gates Middle School Program of Studies is designed to give students and parents an overview of the courses offered for our sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students.
We also represent the connections that courses have to Scituate High School so that students can see the multiple paths ahead in their coursework. We are committed to providing students with challenging and engaging curricula and dedicate ourselves to supporting students as they build their independence as learners and cultivate their personal learning passions.
