Book Club for Caregivers

Gates’ Counseling Department invites parents and caregivers to a monthly Book Discussion. Each month the Counseling Department will choose a book focused on supporting the growth and wellbeing of our children. April’s pick is The Danish Way of Parenting, by Jessica Joelle Alexander and Iben Dissing Sandahl. This month’s book offers practical strategies for parents and caregivers, providing an upbeat and optimistic approach to raising independent and resilient children.
Please join us for an informal book discussion on Tuesday, April 1, 9:00-10:00 at Gates. You will have the opportunity to connect with other parents and Gates staff about this style of parenting. The book can be found online for purchase, through your local library, or on audio book platforms.
Do you enjoy reading? Are you looking for ways to connect with your community and share thoughtful strategies to support our children? Please join our drop in Counseling Department Book Discussion! No registration necessary, but you can reach out to Amy Manhoney with any questions.
