Gates 2024 School Report Card

Gates
Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. The school’s report card is designed to show families how our school is doing in different areas including:
- student achievement
- teacher qualifications
- student learning opportunities
Families can use the report cards as a tool to have meaningful conversations with us about what the school is doing well and where there is room for improvement. Education leaders can use the information to better understand how to support students and our school.
At Gates Middle School, there are several key takeaways that our staff will continue to prioritize:
- Support all students to achieve meeting or exceeding grade level benchmarks
- Implement MTSS process and conduct Whole Child Reviews for all students to better design and monitor progress of interventions that target students’ areas for growth
- Restructure ELA and Math Literacy Program to provide more individualized support to identified students
- Strengthen our connections with students and families to improve their sense of belonging by increasing opportunities for collaboration and engagement
If you have questions about our school’s report card, please contact Principal Ryan Beattie.
