Gates Grade 6 Band - Making Music!

The Gates Grade 6 Band is working hard on concepts like subdividing, playing their instrument and fundamental concepts  like breathing, posture, hand position and embouchure.  Students are learning more about performing in a band setting and beginning to listen for balance, blend and intonation.

Grade 6 band students are excited to demonstrate their learning by performing in a winter concert on 12/17/24 in The Center for the Performing Arts starting at 7:00.  Admission is free and all are welcome to come and enjoy the concert!
