8th Gr. Welcome Aboard Night November 14, 2024

Save the Date: 8th Grade "Welcome Aboard Night" at Scituate High School!

Scituate High School will be hosting an 8th Grade "Welcome Aboard Night" on November 14, 2024, at 5:30PM - 7PM. 8th graders and their parents/caregivers are warmly invited to attend this exciting event. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing all that SHS has to offer! 

• 5:30-5:45 PM: PAC Presentation - Welcome to Scituate High School (Red, white, and blue cards will be handed out to families as they enter)
• 5:50-6:10 PM: Rotation 1
• 6:15-6:35 PM: Rotation 2
• 6:40-7 PM: Rotation 3

Locations

• Café: Sports, Band, Arts, and Clubs – T-shirts will be distributed outside the café starting at 6:55.
• Library: Guidance in the Harbor Room, Department Heads in the Main Library – T-shirts will be distributed outside the library starting at 6:55
• PAC: Internship video presentations, featuring students and sponsors – T-shirts will be distributed outside the PAC starting at 6:55.

Fun Details

• Student Leaders guiding rotations and announcements
• SHS mascot will be roaming the halls
• Student film crew interviewing families and 8th graders
• Live music in the PAC and Main Office lobbies
• School store will be open for the evening!
