Ms. Houle continues on her long and winding road as the Director of Business and Finance for Scituate Public Schools. She has a B.S. from UCONN in business, an MBA from Clark University, two years of doctoral work in management at UCONN, and a CAGS from Worcester State University in the School Business Manager Licensure Program. In addition to her DESE SBA License as a School Business Administrator Ms. Houle has completed her MCPPO certification and the SEI for Administrators. She entered the world of school financial management after many years teaching college courses in marketing, management, and economics as well as a couple of years teaching high school business classes. Her five years serving on the Finance Committee in her home town of Grafton MA sealed the deal and she has worked in public school finance in Maynard Public Schools, Lawrence Public Schools, Bay Path Regional Technical Vocational School, and Uxbridge Public Schools before joining Scituate Public Schools. Besides her passion for education she enjoys reading, cooking, going to the theatre, and family time with her husband and sons.
