Jenkins 5th Grade Student Council - Sign Ups

Fifth Grade Student Council is a before-school club for students who are interested in bringing ideas to life to foster school spirit and carry out service projects as role models in our school! Student Council members will also have the opportunity to present at our monthly Shark Assemblies.

Highlights from 2023-2024:

• In December 2023, the Student Council collected 1,412 pairs of socks, 2,620 diapers, and 580 pairs of underwear for The South Shore Foster Closet.
• Holiday theme days raised over $700 for the Max Vaccarino Scholarship and Valentine Grams raised over $1,800 dollars for the Max Vaccarino Scholarship as well

Thursdays mornings from 8:00am-8:40am in Room 215 with Mrs. Baird.

Meeting schedule for each month this school year is:

• October:  First Meeting, Thursday October 24
• November- Thursday November 7th and  21st 
• December- Thursday  December 5th and 19th 
• January- Thursday January 9th and 23rd
• February- Thursday February 6th and 27th 
• March- Thursday March 6th and 20th
• April- Thursday April 3rd and 17th
• May- Thursday May 8th and 22nd
• June- Thursday June 12th

We understand that family schedules change throughout the school year, all Jenkins fifth graders are welcome to attend any Student Council meeting throughout the school year.
