Grade 1 Project

• Our first graders have been learning about living things and how they grow and change. 
• This week, we focused on the life cycle of a butterfly. 
• Students learned about the four stages of the butterfly life cycle and then represented each stage using a variety of materials. 
• It was a fun and hands-on way to reinforce their understanding of this process!
• Taylor Morancy from Mrs. Henry’s class explains the life cycle of a butterfly in this cute video.

Hatherly’s Got Talent

• We are excited to announce we will have a Hatherly Talent show this winter.

• Please note that you must register your child by January 2nd.

Spirit Week

• We had a fun spirit week!
• PTO decorated the school in the theme of “Holidays at the beach”.
• PTO supplied fun crafts for students to complete all week!
• PTO hosted a holiday shopping store for students and staff all week. 
• PTO sponsored Rob Surette’s Amazing Art Show on Thursday!  
• Raffle baskets were also auctioned off!  Winners are pictured below.
• Friday we ended our day with an all-school sing-along to complete our very fun week!
