Meet our new Elementary Technology Teacher

Ian Kidder

Effective October 28, 2024, Mr. Ian Kidder will be joining the Scituate Public Schools’ technology team, serving as the elementary technology teacher. Mr. Kidder teaches and resides in Scituate. He has four children, three of whom attend Wampatuck Elementary School. 

Get to know more about Mr. Kidder

  • Mr. Kidder possesses over fifteen years of teaching experience. 
  • At the start of his career, Mr. Kidder taught both general education students and advanced learners in the Fairfax County Public Schools for nine years. 
  • For the past six years, Mr. Kidder has served as a fourth grade teacher at Cushing Elementary School, bringing a passion for problem-based learning and impact inquiry. 
  • Mr. Kidder believes all students thrive in a technology-rich environment. By practicing proper digital citizenship skills, students can be empowered to utilize technology to collaborate, problem solve, and make a real difference in the lives of others.  
  • Mr. Kidder holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Plymouth State University, a Master of Education degree from Marymount University, and is a Google Certified Educator.
