Grade 5 Band Begins Soon

Dear 5th Grade Band Families,

We are excited to welcome your musician back to 5th grade Band!  We hope that you had a great summer and are looking forward to playing music together again soon. We have many fun and exciting things planned for Band this year! 

• We are happy to announce that Band lessons will start the week of September 16th for 5th grade. 
• Full Band rehearsals will begin the following week (week of September 23rd). 
• The Band/lesson days may have changed for your school this year – please see below for the days Band will occur at your musician’s school. 
• We are currently working on the lesson schedule and we will notify you of your child’s lesson time, room, and teacher once the schedule has been set. 
• During the first few weeks of lessons, classroom teachers typically post the Band/lesson schedules in their rooms and help students with transitioning to their lessons. 
• After the first few weeks, the responsibility shifts to our musicians to remember their lesson day, time, and location on their own.

 As always, feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns, or comments.  We are looking forward to seeing our Band musicians soon!
