What to wear in cold weather

As the weather begins to get colder we want to remind you that all students are expected to go out to recess. If the “feels like” temperature is 25 degrees or above, students will be going outside. The following clothing items are required when the temperature is 40 degrees or below:

• long pants 
• jackets or coats
• The new “style” is leggings or tights under shorts!  As long as their skin is covered, those are acceptable! All skin must be covered!

Temperatures change from 8:00 a.m. to recess, so it is good to send students prepared to go outdoors every day! Be sure to LABEL all their clothing because they “wander” from their coat hooks. Thank you for your assistance in sending in clothing your children need so they can get the fresh air and activity!
