Mad Science

In honor of STEM week, Scituate Public Schools arranged for all of the elementary schools to have a Mad Science assembly. Tuesday morning the students were treated to an amazing presentation called “Marvels of Motion”. The students loved seeing fun experiments explaining concepts such as gravity, centrifugal force, potential and kinetic energy!

Grade 4 participated in the Artist-in-Residence program at the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset. They spent time with local artist Partrice Kelley, learned about her work and the wool felting process. Students took a stab at felting and created their own colorful creations.
