Mrs. Dorgan guest reader

One School, One Book

  • Grade 4 had some guest readers in class to read today’s selection of Odder: Mrs. Dorgan read to Mrs. Flynn’s class and Mrs. Arruda read to Miss Cafferty’s class!
  • In celebration of finishing Odder next week will be Hatherly Cares Week. Your student will receive a choice board of options for students to do at home to help the environment.
  • There will be a QR code to scan so that you can send photos of your students/families performing these tasks. These photos will be displayed on the monitor in the lobby.

Walk to School 

Hatherly students and staff met at designated locations in town to participate in International Walk to School Day on Wednesday. It was a beautiful day to be walking! Thank you to the Scituate Police Department for participating in this day and helping to keep our students safe.

Scoop Night at Nona’s

Hatherly students sure love ice cream! On Tuesday night, our students filled Nona’s Ice Cream shop to order their favorite flavors from their favorite Hatherly staff members. Thank you to all teachers and staff who participated and to the PTO and Nona’s for arranging this wonderful fundraiser!

Halloween

  • All students in grades K-5 can dress up for Halloween. No masks, weapons, blood allowed on costumes, please!
  • Kindergarten students will participate in a parade through all of the classrooms. More information will be shared by the Kindergarten teachers.

  • 10/9 No School Indigenous Peoples’ Day
  • 10/10-10/14 Hatherly Cares Week
  • 10/12 Final Chapter of Odder
  • 10/13 PLC/ILC Field Trip to Sauchuk’s Farm 9:15-1:30
  • 10/18 Grade 4 Field Trip to South Shore Art Center 9-12pm
