Principal Search Community Forum

Dear Hatherly Community:

The district is preparing for a comprehensive search for the next principal of Hatherly Elementary School, and I am writing to invite you to be a part of this process. 

On Wednesday, April 26th, at 4 pm, Hatherly School Library, I will be hosting a community forum to orient the Hatherly School community on the hiring process to recruit the new principal.  The purpose of the forum will be to provide an overview of the search process and discuss the proposed timeline for the search. The meeting is expected to be no more than one hour in duration.

In the interim, as we develop the Candidate Profile, we have developed a brief survey allowing each of you to outline the skills, background, or knowledge you feel the successful candidate should possess.  If you have the time and would like to let me know your thoughts, please click HERE to complete this brief survey.  Hatherly students are welcome and encouraged to share their thoughts as well!

I am incredibly excited to be working with our community on the search process for a principal and look forward to our collaboration as we work to fill this key leadership position.  If you are interested in being a part of the formal search process as a representative for the PTO, please let the Hatherly PTO know of your interest by emailing president@hatherlypto.org with the subject line “Hatherly Interview Committee” no later than April 21st.
