Happy New Year
We kicked off our new year by reading for 2023 seconds on Tuesday!
Tip of the Week
The new year can be a great time to take stock and set goals. However, often when people make New Years resolutions they set goals that are rooted in unattainable standards and can lead to feelings of failure or shame down the road. When setting goals, choose things that help you get in touch with your own needs and be kinder to yourself. Resolve to let yourself take a break and rest when you feel tired, to eat when you feel hungry, or to get up and stretch when you’re feeling stiff. Or set a goal to spend a little time each week doing something creative or social that you enjoy. These are goals we can return to throughout the year to recenter ourselves rather than looking back with disappointment or shame.
All School/Family Sing-A-long
The Friday before vacation families were invited to our all school sing-a-long! We all gathered in our cafeteria to sing our way to the holiday break! Check out this video of Mr. Puzzangara singing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!
Anchor Program
Scituate Anchors is a program designed to foster authentic and long-term relationships throughout the district and community emphasizing our Boston-Scituate connections. This new philosophy moves away from the idea of host and guest and instead promotes mutual support. The Scituate Anchors program provides families opportunities to build organic friendships through Anchor connection events. Please use this link Anchor Program to find out more about Anchor Program.
