Cushing 2024 School Report Card

Cushing Report Card

Cushing Elementary School

Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. The school’s report card is designed to show families how our school is doing in different areas including:

  • student achievement
  • teacher qualifications
  • student learning opportunities

Families can use the report cards as a tool to have meaningful conversations with us about what the school is doing well and where there is room for improvement. Education leaders can use the information to better understand how to support students and our school.

At Cushing Elementary School, there are several key takeaways that our staff will focus on for academic growth, including:

  • Focusing on academic interventions during our WIN Blocks in literacy and mathematics.
  • Reviewing and analyzing a variety of student data during professional collaboration time to help inform instructional decisions, monitor progress, and ensure that we are meeting the needs of all students.
  • Continuing to foster a culture of collaboration between staff and students.
  • Continuing to focus on the whole-child (academic, social-emotional, physical) in order for students to feel safe and empowered, therefore, leading to an increase in academic growth.

If you have questions about our school’s report card, please contact Jesse Craddock, Principal, Cushing Elementary.
