Elementary Benchmark Results Grades 1-5 Available in Aspen

Benchmark Results

We are sharing your child’s beginning of the year Math and English Language Arts achievement information in Aspen for you to review. Thank you for entrusting your children’s education to Scituate Public Schools. In prioritizing transparency and consistent communication as partners in education, your elementary child’s individual results are available now.  Directions for accessing this information are below.

Three times a year, Scituate Elementary Schools assess all students in literacy and math. You will receive this communication after each of those benchmark periods (BOY=beginning of year, MOY= middle of year, EOY=end of year). Educators review all student data along with classroom performance to make instructional decisions that will promote your child’s academic growth throughout the year.

Summarized in Aspen is your child’s performance on benchmark assessments. We will continue to monitor your child’s progress in these areas throughout the year. As always, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher for more specific details or with any questions..

If you would like to learn more about elementary benchmarking, join the curriculum coordinators for a virtual presentation and discussion on Wednesday, October 9 from 12-12:30.
