Cushing Cat Connection

Welcome March!

We held a Community Meeting for all the Cushing Cats on Friday, February 16th!  Our Lions, Jaguars, Cougars and Tigers sat with their housemates, as Ms. Sweeney led us in a discussion focusing on the theme of “Honesty” with our Character Strong Program!

Mr. Mundt showcased his musical talents by performing our Cushing School Song. He was led by the Lions (our outgoing school champs).

We had our fifth grade leaders take the stage during our Community Meeting, where we practiced different scenarios of how to be honest…or not?  Thank you to our fifth graders!

Incoming Kindergarten parents and families (rising Kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year):  Mark your calendars with these important upcoming dates and events at Cushing:

• Kindergarten Orientation: Friday, May 10th, 9:30 - Cushing Cafeteria
• Kindergarten Screening (By Appointment): Monday, May 20th - Cushing Library (More information to follow on how to schedule your appointment).

Term Two Grading and Report Cards

• Grades will be closing on March 8th.
• Report cards will be released via ASPEN at 3:00 PM on March 15th! 

LIT Bedtime Stories

Please join us virtually on Tuesday evenings at 7:15 PM for a “Love, Inclusion and Trust” bedtime story!  All stories suitable for elementary students!
