Parents of 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders:  Please mark your calendars for important MCAS testing dates, as follows:

It is important for children to get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast and drink plenty of water during test administration!  Scheduling family vacations is strongly discouraged during this important testing window.  We appreciate your support! 

Chinese Acrobat Visits Cushing, Celebrating the Lunar New Year!

Thank you to the Cushing PTO who organized and funded this AMAZING enrichment assembly for our Cushing students on Monday, January 23rd! Li Liu, a professionally trained acrobat from Beijing, China came to Cushing to share her talents with staff and students, K-5.  We were ALL blown away by her incredible athletic ability and artistic talents!  Li has traveled throughout Europe, Africa and Asia with circuses, and has been a regular performer on Princess Cruise Lines and has also performed for the National Basketball Association! THANK YOU CUSHING PTO! 

Holly Hill Farms Visits Fifth Grade!

Thank you to Mr. Jon Belber, who joined us again from Holly Hill Farm!  Mr. Belber met with each fifth grade class to discuss the importance of composting!  It was valuable to learn about the life cycle of planting and gardening, and how composting helps us all!  Thank you Mr. Belber! 

Cushing Chorus Visits Wheeler Park!

A huge shout out to Mr. Mundt and our talented Cushing Chorus, who performed at Wheeler Park and The Scituate Housing Authority in December!  The show was enjoyed by all Scituate residents who attended!  Thank you to our fourth and fifth grade Chorus members, and thank you to Mr. Mundt!

• Friday, February 10th: Twin/Triplet Day:  Students can dress up as “twins” or “triplets.”
• Friday, February 17th: Crazy Hair Day:  Get out the hair gel and style your hair!
• Monday, February 20th - Friday, February 24th: NO SCHOOL (VACATION WEEK)
