Cushing Elementary Celebration of Learning This Is Our House!

Love, Inclusion and Trust!

We have our first LIT Celebration at Cushing on Friday, September 23rd at 9:00 AM!  The LIT Team is an exciting collective of staff and students that meet at least monthly (most likely biweekly) to serve as a braintrust for all things connected to love, inclusion and trust for the school. LIT Teams have two staff members and a minimum of two students from each grade (starting at grade 3). This group will generate ideas founded in LIT, as well as receive and share ideas from others in/connected to the school. The LIT Team will also be a group that helps to identify or address any community issues presented as well. Finally, all 6 LIT Teams (one team per school in our district) will plan on  meeting respectively, once in the fall and spring. We are very excited to celebrate LOVE, INCLUSION, and TRUST at Cushing on Friday, September 23rd! 

Please join us for the Cushing Elementary Expectations Night on Wednesday, September 21st (Last Names A-K from 6:00-6:30; Last Names L-Z from 6:45-7:15).  We can’t wait to welcome you back to Cushing! 

Also, we have early dismissal on Thursday, September 22nd at 12:35!  Please plan accordingly!
